Often Penny hears Cailyn wake up and barrels up the stairs to her room to greet her. Penny loves to talk to Cailyn when she has first woken up and be the big sister. She was busy, so I took it upon myself to go the trip alone. this angered Penny greatly and she marched into the room and demanded that Cailyn did not want to go downstairs with me, that she wanted to play in Penny's room. So Penny showed her all the parts of her new dollhouse, and her balls. Then it was time to check out her Dora blanket/carpet and piles of pillows. What better way to appreciate the pillows than to have a pillow picnic? Complete with pillow table and miniature dollhouse food.
After a delightful snack of plastic pizza, Cailyn, at last, was ready to come downstairs. She also used her interpreter, Penny, to express her wishes to "go for a ride" in the tonka dump truck. It makes a pretty good seat, Cailyn has excellent ideas I tell you, a picnic followed by a joyride in a dump truck, that's a full afternoon.
