This morning as his momma was leaving Rowan caught eye of his snack bag for lunch time, mmmm sweet sweet gerber puffs and wagon wheels. So into the booster chair he went to enjoy a little mid-morning snack. Josh was ready to come downstairs by then and was doubly delighted to not only see his pal Rowan, but that Rowan had a snack, a snack he wouldn't be able to defend properly. I debated locking Josh in the highchair, but then Rowan grinned his goofy "it's my best friend Josh" smile and handed Josh a soggy fistful, which Josh happily ate (picture #2). Josh had happy feet and was doing a dance, Rowan was rocking in the chair, these were two buddies happy to see each other, they even paused the celebration and looked at me for one millisecond. Then Josh got back to helping Rowan finish up his puffs so they could proceed immediately to dumping out the play kitchen.
