Today, this morning, it was actually a touch chilly, enough that Brianne actually requested a jacket to go outside. They had so much fun out there, it was absolutely perfect weather. We did a lot of swinging and then our friends from across the backyard came over and we piled the pillows at the end of the slide and crashed into them, and blew bubbles, and ran around a lot. After lunch we even achieved the unattainable, peaceful harmony playing with the trains and blocks. Okay it only lasted about 10 minutes, but it lasted TEN minutes! While Josh was napping, the girls took it upon themselves to dora-fy the crib, because, well, Brianne will be sleeping over this weekend along with our other friends, and will be using the crib mattress on the floor, and you know, if Penny's bed is Dora-licious. . .Brianne's needs to be too. Good thing my mom accidentally bought toddler bed (crib mattress) sized sheets instead of twin bed sheets once.
