With it being summer and it only being Rowan, the kids and I got a special treat today. Andy took the day off of work, and I got to go to the workshop I wanted to go to down at Yoga on High, while Andy was on kid duty. The menfolk enjoyed a nice lunch, where the boys showed Andy there tit for tat method of lunch time. Josh whines to have some of Rowan's blueberry/cherry/banana or whatever all is in there puree and Rowan whines to have whatever Josh is having. Sharing ensues, both are happy. This also applies to Rowan's puffs and Josh's Graham crackers, and today grapes. It was also handy having Andy around today to distract the girl-child from her usually unhelpful role of photographers assistant. It's time for more portraits, Rowan is 9 months old already! Penny was not helpful at all for the shots of Rowan with his block, but when it came time to just get some head shot smiles, he was her favorite thing to look at. . .which leads to all his pictures having a nice looking off wistfully directly to the left and smiling effect. Oh well. Andy even tried forward, but he too was too much fun to not look at, silly godfathers.
