First we went and had a playdate while he was sleeping, I know, very rude, but at least we left out the hopscotch for him.
After Rowan woke up and got his play in on the hopscotch we mounted up all the gear and buckled three babies in car seats to drive one street over to Cailyn's house for a pool party. Then everybody got to go in the pool and Rowan had to watch from the sidelines. Sometimes it doesn't pay to take antibiotics for your ear infection and be all messed up on your insides. Rowan still can't some male bonding time with Cailyn's dad, and Dave even whispered him a few football pointers. At least it was sunny and nice, and inside there were plenty of toys to munch on! You get to swim next time buddy, we promise!
