The kids are starting to show the light at the end of the needy infant stage, the fun playgroup stage, where the babies play together more than the y need me. It's absolutely adorable to look over and see them interacting with each other, playing and smiling and babbling.
Later in the day, Avery stopped by because her mom accidentally locked herself out, so they chilled here with us while dad came home to the rescue. Since the kids were all awake, we managed to snag a new couch picture right before they had to head home.
Rowan's Day had a lot to do with circles, yummy tin lids, round tunnels to look through. Mr. Rowan isn't quite crawling yet, so he has a while to go on the tunnel thing He still found the whole thing quite fascinating, and it made for an awesome game of peek-a-boo.
Cailyn has three things to say:
1) Go Irish! They're the only good football team!
2) Two pacifiers are better than one.
3) And so it begins, the hair spout.
