Playgroup was nice enough to visit us in house today. Penny quickly made sure that Avery didn't feel neglected with all of the new people running about. Calvin thought Penny needed some help making Avery feel special.

Then everybody wanted to put some lovings on Avery so we had to move her to the floor lest she get pulled off of the table in the excitement. Avery seemed absolutely delighted to hold court on the floor, who wouldn't mind getting such attention lavished on you?

And look at that, Avery decided, maybe the other playgroup mommies aren't all bad, at least Amanda, and at least in our house. We'll see next week. . .

Cailyn says, "Holy Schmoley! Mommy, that's a lot of kids! You aren't really going to start leaving me here, with them, are you?"

Don't worry Cailyn, it's just playgroup, it'll just be you, me, Penny, and Josh, not the hordes! See all it took was a little reassurance and we are all friends again. We are going to have so much fun!

Avery decided to go check out the newcomer and give her the lowdown on coming over to play during the days here at casa Riederer. Cailyn was taking very careful notes.

It's hard to believe already that Avery used to be that tiny! Avery and Cailyn are about 3 months apart, just a few weeks less than Josh and Avery. Amazing the difference a few months can make at this age. Come the end of September, Avery will be going to her permanent home care house and a week later Miss Cailyn will start coming over full time. A changing of the guard so to speak, so it was fun that Cailyn's mom got to come meet everyone and see who Cailyn will get to play with.

Ah, new baby gone, playgroup gone, Penny and Josh napping, it's good to have the funny lady all to yourself!
