Nothing makes you feel more welcome than a full carseat hug first thing when you arrive.
A little carseat hugging is always followed up by a little foot massage, Josh style, which involves a lot of inventive mouth to foot massage action.
Ack! You just got here, your enjoying a foot massage, and then out of no where a brown blob descends upon you and you haven't even gotten out of your car seat yet! It's great to feel so welcomed, but a little personal space is also good, please.
We finally got some new little baby toys, since there are more little folks to entertain these days, and nosy toddlers who want to check things out too. Avery gives this Leapstart toy two hands and feet up. Mostly it is just three paddles that play music or talk when the baby whacks them, but there are little lights too that help them see cause and effect. It's pretty slick.
Avery says "I feel smarter already!"
I believe that hands are supposedly the preferred usage of this toy, but Avery is all about the kicking it, which you know makes it slide across the floor away from her. So you pull it back, she bats it with her hands, down to her feet, then kick kick kick and it is gone again!
