Avery and I (hi Avery's family, that's me holding her, we took this one just for you guys, sorry it's not much good, little people weren't cooperating) started the day with a stubborn-off. She trying to prove she could be too stubborn to go to sleep or be consoled and me showing her that I could be a pesky annoying stubborn adult and insist she take a nap when she is tired. She was a worthy competitor, but my two kids of previous experience defeated her in the end. Penny was also too stubborn to be picked up and put in a picture and smile for it. Avery even got two grandma ladies to dote on her at playgroup when our friend Erin brought her mom and mother-in-law. Check back with plaugroup host
Amanda's blog for more cute pictures of Avery.

Avery and Josh decided napping when you are supposed to and for as long as you normally do is just way to easy on me, and does not jive with "the day of stubborn." Surprise, we're both wide awake!

Could they possibly look any more guilty?

No Averys were harmed in the production of this photo. He just wanted to touch her so bad, and this kept Avery's delectable and not really touchable eyes away from Josh's roving hands. Avery did smile, smile the whole way down to the floor as she slipped onto her side, hence the lack of photo as I reached out to catch her. Still, can anyone say engagement announcement photo?
