Friday!

This is Rowan saying, "I Love sleeping at Melissa's!" No, Darren and Kristina, I never will divulge my secret, the babies likes the sleeping here, what can I say? Rowan had a fun morning rocking it out in the exersaucer. He loves being in there because he is on eye level with Josh and Penny and can play with them upright and be one of the big kids. After a while it was time to get out and have a bottle and then some tummy time. Josh was on hand as his trainer, every time Rowan would rest his head on the boppy Josh would get down on his knees and look up from the floor at Rowan and babble, then gently push Rowan's head up with his hand, like he was saying, "He now buddy, we aren't finished here yet, give me five more reps!"
















Penny loves to "go get" Cailyn and Rowan and Josh. She hears them on the monitor and gets all excited that somebody has woken up. Then she will come over to me and ask, "can I go get Rowan/Cailyn/Josh?" This means that she fully intends to go to their room, open the door, and if possible, climb into their bed with them and play with them. This can come in handy if you are elbow deep in a poopy diaper change and you don't want the newly awake to become salty. Besides it is just adorable to hear the babies go from cranky to side splitting laughter when she comes in. They just love her, besides, she usually brings them toys. Today Cailyn got a ladybug happy meal toy visitor, according to Penny, Cailyn thought he was very funny. It was all going so well, we played, she was doing great, then she started getting surly, then I took her temperature. 102 degrees warranted a call to mama. Looks like we may not be done with this bug yet, time to go say hello to the pediatrician. In the last photo, Cailyn says, "ear infection anyone?"
