Cailyn had no idea what we had in for her today. Not only was that crazy daddy of Josh and Penny guy around, all day, she was going to be too. . .all day. Yup more of those crazy parent teacher conferences had miss Cailyn staying with us for just over a solid 12 hours. She didn't seem to worried, she knows mommy and daddy can't live without her, they'll be back, they are good and addicted.
What on Earth do you guys have planned? Well, we thought maybe Cailyn would handle the long day better if we broke it up a bit, so we planned to do our Thanksgiving dinner shopping that day and loaded all three kids up and headed off to our favorite store Costco. We did have to do the usual explaining of "no, they are not all ours." We did take the opportunity to show Cailyn the wonders of Costco and how her parents need to get them a membership, there are so many good things to eat, and kids always get two samples of everything being offered.
Cailyn had a very fun day and near the end Penny decided she and Cailyn "needed to play blanket games on the floor." Penny was apparently correct as Cailyn laughed very hard and enjoyed soem playtime with her daytime big sister.
"Awww, she's so cute, mommy!"
"Look mommy, she likes me, I'm making her big smiling!"
